AHS Walk-In Clinic Breaks Ground on New Facility

(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 19, 2013) —  AHS Walk-In Clinic has begun construction of a brand new facility on Ambassador Caffery Extension. Commemorating the groundbreaking were Christy Dillane, owner of AHS, as well as AHS service providers, Robert “Popie” Billeaud of J.B. Mouton, architect Kevin Gossen and realtor Monty Warren of Beau Box.

For 20 years AHS has been a trusted walk-in clinic on Pinhook Road in Lafayette, and is now set to expand to a freestanding facility to better serve its growing patient-base. In its new location, AHS will continue to serve walk-in and urgent care patients as well as offer occupational medicine services such as pre-employment physicals, treatment of work-related injuries and drug/alcohol screenings.

“We’re excited to move to a central location on Ambassador Caffery Extension, and we believe our state-of-the-art facility will improve operational efficiency and the overall patient experience,” says Christy Dillane, President of AHS. “We want to continue to be the go-to clinic in our new neighborhood just as we are now.”

The new, larger clinic will feature twice the number of patient rooms, as well as two large lobbies that will better accommodate patients and offer a more streamlined healthcare experience.
